The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has clearly recognised that promoting China’s modernisation is a brand new undertaking, and that there will inevitably be various contradictions, risks and challenges along the way.
In summarising the historical experience of the Party’s centenary of struggle, the Communist Party of China has outlined ten fundamental experiences of fundamental and long-term guiding significance.
The first three emphasise the need for a strong core of leadership, the need to rely on the people to unite and struggle, and the need to use scientific and constantly innovative theories to guide new practices. It should be particularly emphasised here that having a strong core of leadership is the most fundamental experience for us in dealing with all risks and challenges.
At the same time, we actively advocate strengthening communication and cooperation with the international community. Only by working together and joining forces can we jointly respond to risks and challenges.
China has proposed the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, with the aim of working together with all countries to respond to common challenges, enhance the well-being of peoples of all countries, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Let us join hands and work together to build a better world.
