On May 29, 2019, a group from the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute and the Pacific Forum visited the Shanghai Academy.
The two groups discussed China-US relations and international hotspot issues, in a series of in-depth exchanges.
Zhao Kebin, executive vice president of Shanghai Academy, chaired the meeting. Michael North, co-founder of the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute and Chairman of Asia Pacific Group, attended, with Zhou Xiaofang, co-founder of the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute. They introduced the former president of Pacific Forum, Ralph A. Cossa, together with his associates from Pacific Forum: Ariel Stenek, Program Manager; Keoni Williams, Director of the Pacific Forum Youth Leadership Program; and Fellow Alex Shykov.
Yang Huijun, director of the secretariat of the Academy, and Li Chunguang, deputy director of the Academy Cooperation Branch, participated in the meeting.
